The
company, WmOhs Timeless Handmade Cabinetry, began in 1972. The furniture-like
cabinets are factory custom made in Denver, CO, USA. They are manufactured
in accord with the European, frameless, dowelled method of construction.
In addition to mortise and tenon joinery at the door corners, WmOhs
adds secondary interior dowels as well. The center raised panels
"float" within the door frame and are allowed to expand
and contract with the changes in humidity using two different connection
materials between. Cabinet drawer joinery is dovetail. The solid
wood doors are available in six different species including; Alder,
Cherry, Maple, both knotted and clear Sugar Pine and Oak.
The finishes
available are unlimited. There are 58 standard finishes which employ
extensive glazing and handwiping techniques. Several additional
finish effects are also available; paint residues, rub through,
crackle and crazing, and gesso finishes. Absolutely any color can
be matched with the use of high tech machinery and the expert craftspeople
at the WmOhs factory.
