Plato's
100 year history is filled with interesting stories, but its greatest
value is in its continuity. The Pinske family has been crafting
quality wood products since 1893 in the rural Minnesota community
of Plato. Five generations of the Pinske family have maintained
the heritage of setting the standard for crafting high-quality wood
products that have become an important and valued part of their
customers' lives.
With
100 years of craftsmanship and careful attention to detail, they
could choose to say, "This is how Grandpa did it," and never change
the way they build cabinets. But they continually seek to improve
their products, recognizing that technology produces improved methods
of construction as well as better materials for finishing their
cabinets.
The wood drawer guide that their great-grandfather Theodore Pinske
used was the best in his day, but the drawers in the Plato cabinets
you buy today glide effortlessly on state-of-the-art guides for
a pull so smooth and stable that even great-grandfather Pinske would
be amazed by it.
Plato
Woodwork is proud of their history, but they are more preoccupied
with the cabinets they build for you today.
